Better Together
We have members from all over the state of Louisiana, and some even hail from outside the state’s borders. The picture exhibits our geographic distribution. The regions within Louisiana are divided as follows:
North Louisiana includes LSU Health Shreveport, which proudly hosts one of the state's four Radiology Residency programs. Our members in this region come from a variety of communities, including Bossier City, Calhoun, Frierson, Ida, Lake Providence, Monroe, Ruston, Shreveport, and West Monroe.
Moving to Central Louisiana, members represent cities such as Alexandria, Carencro, Natchitoches, Pineville, and Woodworth.
In South West Louisiana, our members live in cities including Broussard, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Leesville, Opelousas, and Youngsville.
South East Louisiana is notable for being home to the majority of our members and to three additional Radiology Residency programs located at LSU Health New Orleans, Ochsner Health, and Tulane University School of Medicine.
Members from this region come from a range of cities including Abita Springs, Baton Rouge, Covington, Gonzales, Gray, Hammond, Helena, Houma, Kenner, La Place, Mandeville, Marrero, Metairie, New Orleans, Plaquemine, Prairieville, River Ridge, Schriever, and Slidell.
Additionally, a few of our members have made homes outside of Louisiana, living in states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, New York, Texas, and Virginia. This wide geographical distribution highlights the reach and influence of our society across the region and beyond.
